As a starting value use 100 power p with around 30 speed v for a laser engraver with 60 watts and then 100 power and around 15 speed for any machines with less than 60 watts. Your laser should have some suggested settings for cutting or engraving different materials and different thicknesses. White marble is also a good type for this application because it can produce a solid white stone engraving. Typical engraving dpi settings are 500 or 600 depending on the laser system you have.
